Tailor-made equipment for NATO
Called by the NATO technical services for an emergency repair, we offered to rent an AER SB to replace a competitor’s defective equipment.
The Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe, (SHAPE), located near Mons, 60 km south of Brussels in Belgium, then asked us to make a customised solution. The result: we equipped the military base with a new AER GD aerator, whose turbine diameter and speed were adapted for better efficiency, taking into account the technical constraints and the reduced size of the receptacle.
An optional soundproofing cover was placed over the gearbox to reduce noise in view of the working environment near the barracks.
