The need for reliability in an aging plant
In this municipal wastewater treatment plant, six large floating decanters from another manufacturer had been in place for several years. These units were showing signs of wear, with frequent breakdowns and disruptions in the basin drainage process, leading to mixing of the sludge and aspiration of sediments.
In order to solve this issue, the plant decided to gradually replace its floating decanters. Three units have already been replaced by our AD/MC 1500-G, with a capacity of 1500m³/h, while the remaining three are scheduled for installation soon.
AD/MC 1500-G: A Robust and Easy-to-Integrate Solution:
- Adaptable to all plant layouts: Operates via gravity flow or pump-driven discharge
- Multiple installation options: Can be mounted on guide tubes or installed using cables and springs
- Optimized decantation: Ensures slow flow of velocity just below the water line,
preventing disturbance of settled sediments and avoiding the suction of foam and floating matter
- Infrastructure-friendly design: As it continuously floats on the water, it exerts no stress on the basin edges, minimizing strain on aging walls
Thanks to their smart design, the AD/MC floating decanters integrate seamlessly into existing installations. In Nowy Targ, their placement required only two mooring posts, with no major modifications to the basin.
Convincing results and ongoing modernization
This project, the third of its kind in Poland with this model and size, perfectly illustrates how our AD/MC 1500-G floating decanters provide a high-performance, durable solution while ensuring simple and efficient implementation.
