A municipal
wastewater treatment plant in the South East of France underwent a makeover by
choosing 16 new Europelec Aerospeed degreasing aerators, replacing,
consequently, all its existing equipment.
As the site
is located by the sea, the effluents contain a high concentration of chlorides
(4g/l), which had damaged the existing system. This was followed by a series of
machine breakdowns, gradually reducing the aeration and degreasing capacity of
the large tank, until it no longer fulfilled its original functions.
Faced with
these demanding natural constraints, 2 factors determined this choice:
anti-corrosion sacrificial anodes and IM2 paint. The Aerospeed, with its two
options, proved to be THE solution, offering a robust product that guarantees
reliability and longevity over time.
The aerators
will now be installed in the south of France, where they will soon be up and
running again.
